Zakiev M.Z., D.Sc. (Philology), professor, Fellow of TAS, Fellow of Russian Academy of Linguistics, Honorary member of Turkish Linguistic Society, a member of the Presidium of the World Turkologists Association and Honored Scientist of Russian Federation and the Republic of Tatarstan was born in 1928. He is a Tatarstan State prize-winner in the field of science and technology. Dr. Zakiev is the head of the Department of Linguistics in G.Ibragimov Institute for Language, Literature and Art (TAS).
