The main research activity of the Division is devoted to the solution of substantial theoretical and applied problems of: the productivity of farming, live stock-breeding; technological and mechanical development; and the ecologically safe agricultural production. Under the guidance of the Division there are 5 institutions: Tatar Research Institute for Agriculture; Tatar Research Institute for Agricultural Chemistry and Soil Science; Tatar Institute for Agricultural Business Staff Training; and Federal Center on Toxicological and Radiation Security of Animals.
Under the supervision of Prof. Zaripova Tatarstan researchers developed compositions and organized the production of balancing vitamin adds in the rations of productive stocks taking into account the actual feeding power of the local fodders as well as the methods of increasing the protein and energy feeding power of the fodders taking into account the peculiarities of the region.
Under the guidance of Prof. Ravilova and Prof. Idrisova Tatarstan researchers offered an integral system of protection and elimination of infectious diseases using improved and newly created diagnosticums, preventive means and ecologically safe chemotherapeutical and disinfectant means.
Under the guidance of Prof. Faizrakhmanov Tatarstan researchers developed scientific recommendations on evaluation of motivation of the labor at a factory-farm enterprise as the most important factor for providing sustainable development in the agrarian sector of Tatarstan economy. The laid out theoretical clauses and practical recommendation on investment-innovative projects of development of the dairy subcomlex basing on Agricultural Holding “KV-Agro”.
Under the guidance of Prof. Gaisina Tatarstan researchers developed new patented polyfunctional compositions for incrustation of seeds and foliage spraying the plants for optimization of the plant nutrion and protection. The researchers worked through the different methods of optimization of vegetative source of raw materials for producing cellulose.
Under the guidance of Prof. Ilyazov Tatarstan researchers for the first time established the regularity of the man-caused agroecosystem pollution. They launched a concept “Providing Agroecological Safety in Tatarstan”, republican program “Agroecological Safety” used as a model in other regions of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Kazakhstan. The researchers designed the map of “Agroecological Zoning of Tatarstan”, technology of producing normatively pure products of live stock-breeding on the conditions of techno genesis as well as proposals on rehabilitation of the territories in zone of impact of Chernobyl catastrophe.
Under the guidance of Prof. Kadyrova Tatarstan researchers bred new varieties of buckwheat of intensive type; it do not require heavy seeding and fertility sensitive soils. These sorts are considered by State Committee for New Varieties of Agricultural Plants as valuable by quality. It was noted that they have high uniformity, increased outcome of pure large ungrounded buckwheat and high energy efficiency at processing. The new sorts such as “Saulyq”, “Cheremshanka”, “Chatyr Tau” provide production of cereals with high dietary quality of the main crops.
The annual total economic effect of introducing new sorts and cropping technologies is about 2.7 billion rubles. The original gene pool with high selective value created under the guidance of Prof. Kadyrova is widely involved on the selection process by other institutes. She is the author of the invention “Method of Selecting the Macrocarpous Buckwheat for Increasing the Productivity and Quality”, and has patents for 7 new sorts.
Under the guidance of Prof. Sakhapov Tatarstan researchers work on the development of technology and mechanization facilities for preplant tillage and sowing. The far-reaching modular forming block is produced in 10 plants of Tatarstan and Russia; it was practically introduced in 31 regions of Russian Federation. As a result of joint research work between the Agricultural Division of TAS, Yaroslav Repair and Engineering Enterprise, Tatar Research Institute for Agriculture and Chelyabinsk Agro engineering University for the first time there was developed Russian complex for minimal and zero technology of grain and oil-bearing crops production based on the tractor of 5 KN drawbar category.
