Tatarstan Academy of Sciences

The event aroused interest among the representatives not only from Tatarstan, but also from Kazakhstan, Kabardino-Balkaria, Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). It was prepared a booklet for all the guests which tells the story of the creation of the encyclopedia, and represented the structure of publications and topics of articles. Also, there was an exhibition devoted to the Tukay's famous works.

Encyclopedia contains the works of more than 135 authors in different areas of the Tatar humanities. 2358 articles that reveal the identity of Tukay and the world of his works can be divided into eight thematic areas. 

"Humanitarians of Tatarstan has long nurtured the idea of the creation of this publication, which was a sign of deep respect and gratitude to the famous son of the Tatar people " - this assessment to the Tukay's Encyclopedia gave the President of the Tatarstan Academy of Sciences M.H. Salakhov. 

Encyclopedia is created and edited mostly by scientists of the G. Ibragimov Institute of Language, Literature and Art.
