On July 11, 2023, at the General Meeting of the Tatarstan Academy of Sciences of, in accordance with the Charter and the "Regulations on Elections at the Tatarstan Academy of Sciences ", the next presidential elections were held at the TAS.
According to the results of a secret ballot of the General Meeting of the TAS, Academician Minnikhanov Rifkat Nurgalievich was elected the new President of the Tatarstan Academy of Sciences.
